My name is Nienke Berghuis. I was born in the Netherlands and raised in a creative and musical family. Since I was a young child I have always expressed myself through art. I also have a big interest in psychology.
So the study Art Therapy was everything I was looking for. I was amazed how much there is to see in a simple painting. It says so much more than words.

I graduated in 2009 and started my own business for art, art therapy and workshops. Unfortunately I had to give it all up because my partner got a job on the other side of the world; Australia. We are now living in a small mining town in central Queensland. While he is digging in the dirt, searching for the black gold, I am trying to give the art a chance.
